Since 2022, Akamihk Fresh has operated a vertical farming facility on Montana First Nation land near Maskwacis, Alberta.
We are proud to grow sustainable, high-quality produce that supports Montana First Nation while supplying the Alberta market with fresh, locally grown food.
We grow year-round in a hydroponic vertical farm, without the use of pesticides and using up to 90% less water than conventional farming methods. We are committed to providing a reliable supply of fresh lettuce and herbs across Alberta.
