Since 2022 Akamihk Fresh has operated a hydroponic facility near Maskwacis, Alberta. Our focus has been to create sustainable food sources for Nation members and to enhance the hydroponics market with fresh ingredients.

We grow year-round, without the use of pesticides, using 90% less water than conventional farming methods.

Our mission is to provide a reliable supply of lettuce and herbs within Alberta. We have grown our offerings and have our products featured in many alberta grocery Stores and restaurants.
